Welcome to safeApps. We were built on the foundational belief that your data belongs to you. Our ecosystem (including safeApps SOCIAL, CHAT, MAIL, and BOT) is designed to be a private, secure sanctuary for your inner circle. We absolutely do not sell your data, we do not run advertisements, and we do not use algorithms to mine your personal life.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with a secure and private experience, we collect the following minimal information:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your Name and Email Address. This is handled securely by our authentication provider (Clerk) to verify your identity.
  • User-Generated Content: We temporarily or persistently store the messages, emails, and social posts you create solely for the purpose of delivering them to your invited inner circle.
  • Circle Metadata: We store the structure of your "Circle" to ensure that your data is strictly siloed and only accessible by people you have explicitly authorized.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to operate the safeApps ecosystem:

  • To authenticate your login and secure your account.
  • To deliver your private messages, emails, and social updates to your chosen contacts.
  • To provide factual, age-appropriate answers via the safeApps BOT.
  • We do NOT use your information for targeted advertising.
  • We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your information to third-party data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a select few trusted services to power our infrastructure:

  • Authentication: We use Clerk to securely manage your login credentials and identity.
  • AI Processing: Queries made to the safeApps BOT are processed to return answers. We do not use your private personal conversations or data to train public AI models.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to ensure that your communication remains strictly between you and your trusted circle. We continuously monitor our infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access to your private data.

6. Children's Privacy & Age Ratings

safeApps is designed as a safe communication tool. While our safeApps BOT provides age-appropriate, factual answers, any user under the age of 13 should have consent from a parent or guardian before joining a Circle. Parents and Circle administrators have oversight over who is invited into their private network.

7. Your Data Rights

You are in control of your data. You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request the deletion of your account and all associated communication data.
  • Manage and remove members from your private Circle.
